I recently purchased these shoes and I can tell you that they are the most comfortable pair of heels I own. The 1 1/2 inch platform really cushions the foot. 'Audrinaa' also has a thick 5.25 inch heel, which gives them a fun '70s look. I would recommend these heels to any girl. They're versatile so they go with just about anything: skirts, skinny jeans, shorts!

Zoya 'Julieanne' Nail Color: Review

I recently purchased some Zoya polishes, so I thought it would be a good idea to do a review. I had never tried Zoya nail polishes before this, but I thought I'd give them a try since they were having a great deal. I picked 3 colors and only paid for shipping =)

When the nail polishes finally arrived I was pleased to see that the colors were identical to what I had seen online (except for 'Vegas Freeze,' but I'll save that for a different post). I was really happy with the quality. I only had to use 2 coats and the color was beautiful. 'Julieanne' is this gorgeous dark purple with a plum colored shimmer.

I usually change my nail polish color every week but I liked this color so much, I decided to keep it on longer. Of course, I did have to repaint them because the color was starting to chip. It did last for a good 4 or 5 days before I noticed any chipping though. Overall, I would give 'Julieanne' a 5/5. It's good quality, good color, good packaging.

Shoe of the Week: Report 'Lena'

Hi everybody :) For this week's Shoe of the Week I picked a comfy looking shoe for Fall. This style is called Lena and it's by Report (one of my favorite shoe brands). This isn't the type of shoe I would normally blog about but I think it's perfect for fall in Southern California. We don't get a lot of rain here but it can get pretty cold. I am a flip flop kind of girl when it comes to my routine shoe. I don't like wearing tennis shoes because they make me feel somewhat claustrophobic. I know that sounds weird but I've been this way since I can remember.

Anyway, these just looked really comfy and cute, and the material reminds me of fall/winter. I can't wear sandals in 50 degree weather so these are a nice alternative for me. They're easy to slip on and off and they aren't too tight or bulky. Plus, I am really liking the cute floral detail on the toes. My Birthday Dinner

Yesterday was my 24th birthday! I had to celebrate the right way, so I invited all my dearest friends...

and we headed to Katsuya in Hollywood for dinner.

The restaurant was pretty and dinner was great, but most of all I enjoyed the company of the people I love most. We all had such a fun time catching up and goofing around! I was even serenaded by some T-Pain looking character. It was hilarious and he did a really good job!

I know I've done other posts on these shoes but never have I devoted an entire week to them like they deserve. These are from one of last year's Ruthie Davis collections and I have to say these are my favorite shoes from her. I love Ruthie Davis shoes, they're amazing, and these shoes bring things full circle for me. I spotted Kim Kardashian in these last year and I fell in love with them immediately. These are the shoes that got me hooked on Ruthies. I love the clear Lucite upper and the pink on the double platform. Gotta love 'em!

It is absolutely impossible to find these shoes anywhere. I started looking for them last year in February but I didn't have any luck then... still haven't :( I think they ran at about $900. I could be wrong about the price but they'd probably be on sale now if I did find them anyway. I'm starting to ramble so I'll wrap things up by wishing everyone a happy Sunday and a great rest of the week!

I am in love with these Giuseppe Zanotti sandals! The style number is I00171 002; they feature a 4 1/2" heel, crystal embellished straps and over-sized bows which you can wear in the front or slightly to the side. The pink just gives an angelic affect that I really adore. You can pair these with just about anything: jeans, slacks, skirts, etc.

I bought these back in November of 2009 and I've only worn them 3 times. Let's just say these are not the shoes I would choose to do a lot of walking in. They're gorgeous but they're killers. I wore them on Friday night and my feet are still hurting :( They are so worth it though.

These shoes were part of Jimmy Choo's H&M Collection, which was available for a very short time last year. I drove all the way to the Beverly Hills Center on opening day and waited in line for 6 hours for these. I don't regret it at all :)

I love these from Pleaser. The style is called 'Adore," and I do adore them! You might have seen them on Katy Perry recently. Her stylist did a good job pairing the shoes with an outfit that was really fun and colorful. This way the shoes don't look too "stripperish," if that makes sense... It's a really young and fun look. I love it.

I would totally wear these!

Shoe of the Week: Report Randolph2

I really like this shoe, it's kind of a modern gladiator look. Report is a great brand, it's definitely one of my top 5 favorite brands for shoes. This particular pair is available in black (shown above) or a metallic dark silver color. I'm not sure exactly how high these are but I'm gonna guestimate they're a good 4 1/2 inches. You can definitely take these from day to night and they can be paired with pants or even shorts or a skirt. These were originally priced at $194.95 but they're currently on sale for $153.24 on zappos.com. I don't have one! I just haven't found anything I feel is worthy of a post for today. I'm also feeling really lazy so that might be another reason haha I ordered a pair of Jessica Simpson shoes but when I received them I was not all that impressed. It's probably because I really wanted them in black but settled for a light tan color when the black were sold out. After deciding to return them I was going to do a post on my Jimmy Choos that I had bought back in November, but I didn't get a chance to take pictures. Maybe next week... Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week. Stay productive!

If you read my blog you know I am obsessed with Ruthie Davis shoes. Her designs are perfection!! So today, my best friend told me she saw that Ruthie herself had posted a link on her Facebook to one of my blog posts featuring her shoes. I was so excited! I thought no one read my little ole blog, but for Ruthie Davis (my favorite shoe designer) to actually see my blog and mention me on her Facebook... the feeling is amazing. This inspires me to keep doing what I enjoy.

Trying to Keep Up

I have really been slacking on my posts lately. For some reason I sometimes feel overwhelmed by my sweet, innocent, little bloggy. I don't know why. Maybe it's the pressure... I feel like all eyes are on me and for some reason that intimidates me. Maybe that sounds strange, I don't know. Anyway, I have a topic in mind for my next post and I'm pretty excited about it. I feel like all of my posts have been about shoes, and as much as I love them, I need to incorporate the LIFE and LOVE aspects of my world as well.

Other than that, my week so far has been pretty long ( and it's only Tuesday lol). Right now I am not in the fast paced environment I am used to for my job. I've been doing a little side work and things have been very slow. Ugh! It will all be worth it in the long run though, so I am going to stay positive =) I also got new batteries for my camera so I am super excited about that! I can finally take pictures again, YAY!!

Oh, before I forget, I read Candace Bushnell's The Carrie Diaries. As a Sex and the City fan, my opinion may be biased but I have to tell you I loved it!! It was entertaining and believable, two very important factors a book needs to have. At least for me, anyway. I managed to read two books in a matter of 3 days so I was feeling pretty good about that (thank you, thank you) lol.

I am feeling productive today and I am excited about my new project, so on that positive note I am going to end this post. I hope you all have a fun, productive week and I'll be back later this week. Stay tuned...

Jimmy Choo Pre Fall 2010 shoes are here!! I was a bit disappointed with the collection but there are some goodies sprinkled here and there. These really caught my eye though, I'm loving the purple and cut out detail. They are available online now for $1150. Waayyyy out of my price range but hey, a girl can dream right?

Meet my new obsession. I'm having trouble finding information on these shoes. They're not featured on Nicholas Kirkwood's site as of yet :( Some of these photos are not the best quality so I'm not sure you can see the pink detail that they have. They kind of fade from blue to pink in some areas and they are lace ups. The heel is probably somewhere around 5 inches and they feature the signature Nicholas Kirkwood platform. I'll do an update once I find more 411 on these.

Available for $2,495.00 at Jimmy Choo. They feature a 5.1" heel and the platform lights up when you apply pressure. This might be the kid in me talking but I love it! You can literally light up the room!! However, the special battery-operated bulb only lasts about 100 hours. When you think about it, I guess that's a lot of wear time, but once the light burns out... are they really that special after all? I'm curious how much the retail price is hiked up because of that little light. In the end, at least they're fun to look at :) See them light up at 0:45 in the video below.

I recently came across an article that made me laugh. In this article, "experts" discuss the physical dangers of wearing high heels. According to Dr. Jacqueline Sutera, "any shoe with more than a two-inch heel can be dangerous." Ha! I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be caught dead in anything less than 4 inches (mayyybe 3 1/2 if they were really cute). So I want to celebrate the beauty and architecture of the 4 or more.
